Spurs helped Warriors?

Why getting blown out was the best thing that could happen to these Golden State Warriors..
During the 2015-2016 campaign the
Golden State Warriors went the whole season without being humbled, now
yes they lost games even had a few close calls but it always seemed as
if they still weren't humble. They always believed last year that they
could flip it on whenever they were in trouble and I believe coming back
from being 3-1 down against the Thunder still didn't humble them, if
anything boosted their ego even more. It wasn't until Game 7 when the
clock sounded and Lebron James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers
begin celebrating winning the NBA title at that moment Golden State was
humbled but it was too late. This offseason, signing of Kevin Durant, one
could see the arrogance all over the Warriors organization, press
conference, the coaching staff etc. So coming into the 2015-2016 season
the confidence level for a team that just won 73 games, went to the NBA
finals and just added arguably one of the top 2 best players on the
planet, surely this team will cake walk to the championship. Not so
fast!! The San Antonio Spurs came out and not just beat the Warriors
they embarrassed them, humbled them, it was never in doubt from the
opening tip. And the sad part about all of this is the Spurs may have
wrote a check that the rest of the league can't cash now.
Why do I say
that after how awful the Warriors look last night? Because I expect the
Warriors to get it together fast and comeback humbled and hungry and
that spells trouble for the rest of the NBA. This is the most unselfish
superstars you will ever find joined together and it doesn't hurt you
may have the 3 best shooters in the history of the game all on the court
at the same time. The Spurs put a terrible taste in their mouth and I
believe it was the best thing that could have happened to these Golden
State Warriors and the worst thing for the rest of the NBA.
