What's wrong with Steph?
Steph Curry over his last 7 games lets just call it what it is he's been awful shooting the ball. He is 18 for 76 from the three point line over that stretch which is 24%. He is struggling to find that rhythm he had all of last season. What could be the problem? Is it fatigue? Is it cause Kevin Durant is out with an injury ( even though he went 0-11 with KD on the floor )? In my opinion I just think he is missing shots he normally makes due mainly to fatigue and misfortune. I'm sure Steve Kerr is heck of a lot smarter then I am, but I feel like all he can do is keep shooting and give him adequate amount of rest. Steph has played a lot of basketball over the past 3 seasons and as you know the most important thing for a shooter is his legs and right now they seem to be very heavy for him. Guys like Kobe and Lebron are able to endure longer seasons because they have the ability to play from the post and get to certain spots. They game isn't predicated on shooting 30 footers every night so when they are fatigue they could always find ways to get easy 2's or live at the free throw line something Steph has a harder time doing. So if I was Steve of the remaining games left in the regular season I would let Steph play maybe half of them. Lets be honest it doesn't matter what seed the Warriors get, when they are healthy and rested nobody is beating them 4 out of 7 games. Especially now with the Spurs misfortune of losing LaMarcus for the immediate future the Warriors have time to take a deep breath and get things together. Steph is going to be fine, and I think it is a simple case of him missing shots due to fatigue and has absolutely zero to do with them losing Kevin Durant.
I believe Steph will get it going again real soon and if or when he does the Warriors are head and shoulders above everyone else in the NBA. Steph is the greatest shooter in NBA history and he didn't magically forget how to put the ball in the rim so my money is on him figuring this thing out pretty quickly.
