1. Ohio State (2-0) (W vs Hawaii 38-0) - Ezekiel Elliot led the way for the Buckeyes with 27 carries for 101 yards ad 3 touchdowns.  Ohio State defense allowed 165 yards and forced 4 turnovers en route to their 15th straight victory. Next Game: vs N. Illinois  

 2. Alabama (2-0) (W vs Middle Tenn. St. 37-10) - Jake Coker threw for 214 yards and a touchdown in the 1st half. Running back Derrick Henry rushed for 96 yards and his 2nd consecutive 3 touchdown game. Next Game: vs Ole Miss

3. TCU (2-0) (W vs Stephen F Austin 70-7) - After a sloppy win in week 1 the Horned Frogs bounce back with a 63 point victory. Trevone Boykin tosses 4 touchdowns on 18 of 27 passing. TCU out gained Stephen F Austin 627-167 in total yards. Next Game: vs SMU

 4. Michigan State (2-0) (W vs Oregon 31-28) - Michigan State took the lead mid 3rd quarter on a LJ Scott 6 yard touchdown run and didn't look back. Aaron Burbridge caught 8 passes for 101 yards and 2nd quarter touchdown. Next Game: vs Air Force

 5. Baylor (2-0) (W vs Lamar 66-31) - Baylor put on a clinic with 3 running back rushing for 100 yards. Junior running back Shock Linwood lead the attack with 130 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Corey Coleman made big play after big play catching 6 passes for 182 yards and 4 touchdowns (30.3 yards per catch).  Next Game: vs Rice (9/26)

 6. USC (2-0) (W vs Idaho 59-9) - The Trojan offense was clicking on all cylinders totaling 737 yards.  Heisman frontrunner Cody Kessler was nearly perfect going 26 for 31 with 410 yards and 3 touchdowns. Sophomore wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster had a career night grabbing 10 passes for 194 yards and 2 scores. Next Game: vs Stanford

 7. Georgia (2-0) (W @ Vandy 31-14) - Nick Chubb rushed for 189 yards on 19 carries as the Bulldogs avenge their 2013 loss in Nashville.  Georgia intercepted 3 Johnny McCary passes; including a Pick-6 by safety Dominick Sanders. Next Game: vs South Carolina

 8. Oregon (1-1) (L @ Michigan State 28-31) - The Ducks scored 14 points in the 4th quarter but it was too little too late as the Spartans hold on to the victory. Vernon Adams Jr. has his first 300 yard passing game at Oregon but throws 2 interceptions in the losing effort. Next Game: vs Georgia St.

 9. Auburn (2-0) (W vs Jax St. 27-20/OT) - Auburn holds on to the win after being outplayed for most of the game by FCS Jacksonville St. Jeremy Johnson's touchdown pass to Melvin Ray with 39 seconds left sent the game into overtime and Peyton Barber's 4 yard touchdown run in overtime sealed the deal. 10. Florida State (2-0) (W vs USF 34-14) - After a 7-7 halftime score, the Seminoles score 28 in the 3rd quarter to put the game out of reach for the Bulls. Dalvin Cook had a career game rushing for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns. Next Game: @ Boston College (9/18)

Google Why hasn't any NFL team signed Colin Kaepernick yet or will they for that matter? Does he even deserve another chance ? It's hard to make a case for him as of late, I mean in his last 24 starts he is just 4-20 which is awful to say the least. But lets be honest the San Fransico 4'9ers are an awful organization that was doomed the day they let Jim Harbaugh walk out the door. He was put into a position to fail as a quarterback over the past 2 seasons. So yes this man deserves another shot in the NFL. Since 1995 the 4'9ers have reached one Super Bowl and guess who was the quarterback? That's right Kaep!! He has 72 career touchdowns to just 30 interceptions, 2300 career rushing yards. In his first career post season game he totaled 444 total yards of offense with 4 touchdowns. This guy is a stud and you mean to tell me he can't even be a back up? Warriors Clinch Number 1 Seed

Last night the Golden State Warriors clinched their 3rd consecutive number 1 seed in the western conference playoffs with a 12 0-111 victory over the Phoenix Suns.  Stephen Curry finished the game 8-13 from 3-point range on the way to 43 points and 11 assist. Klay Thompson chipped in 22 points as the Warriors win their 13th straight game. During the Warriors winning streak Stephen Curry is 26.3 points and assist per game and shooting 46% from the 3-point line. As a team Golden State has figured out how to play at a high level despite losing their leading scorer Kevin Durant a little over a month ago. Losers of 4 out of their first 6 games without KD, the Warriors average margin of victory during their the streak is 15.3 points per game. Also with the win, Golden State become the 1st NBA team to win 65 games for 3 straight seasons. The Warriors have been the best team in the NBA since Steve Kerr took over 2 seasons ago. Tony Romo Retires

ESPN reports this morning that Tony Romo, former Dallas Cowboy starting quarterback will announce his retirement to pursue a career in broadcasting. Last season Romo's season was cut short due to a compressed fracture in the L1 vertebrae. While sidelined, Rookie Dak Prescott led Dallas to a 13-3 record, best since the 2007 season. Rumors swirled about trading Romo to the Texans, Broncos and a couple of more team. Romo will become the 5th lead commentator for CBS after taking Phill Simms spot. Don't think for a second this is a decision based on Tony's ability to still play football. He has plenty of game left. Romo would start in Denver, Houston, and Cleveland right now. Being in this position at CBS is a once in a lifetime opportunity. At 36 years old, and multiple season-ending injuries, it was time to think about life after football. Tony Romo is charismatic, well-spoken and will be a great addition to the CBS family.
