Trell's College Football Top 25 Week 6 Edition

1. Florida State (4-0) W at North Carolina State 56-41

Rashad Greene leads the ACC in receptions and receiving yards
Down 24-7 after the 1st quarter, Florida State rallies back from what started off as a disaster return for Jameis Winston. Riddled with injuries defensively, the Seminoles allowed 520 total yards versus previously undefeated NC State. Jameis Winston throws for 365 yards with four touchdowns and two second half interceptions. Senior wide receiver Rashad Greene caught 11 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. Florida State will face 2-3 Wake Forest in Tallahassee Saturday.

2. Oregon (4-0) IDLE

The Ducks will play undefeated Arizona at home after a bye week. The Oregon offense is 4th national in scoring averaging 48.5 points per game. Oregon should not take Arizona lightly. The Wildcats lead the Pac-12 in yards per game with 594 per. Marcus Mariota and the Ducks offense must take care of the ball if they want to avoid the upset.

Royce Freeman leads the Pac-12 in rushing touchdowns with five

3. Alabama (4-0) IDLE

Blake Sims 190.8 passer rating is tops in the SEC
Alabama will take their top 10 scoring defense to Oxford where they will take on #11 Ole Miss.  Alabama will have two weeks to prepare for the Rebels after a 42-21 win over Florida and a bye week. Amari Cooper name is surfacing on Heisman list so expect Blake Sims to target him early and often. Ole Miss will be prepared for Alabama's passing attack as the Rebels lead the SEC in interceptions with nine.

4. Oklahoma (4-0) IDLE

The Sooners will travel to Ft. Worth for a showdown with unbeaten #25 TCU. Last time Oklahoma went to TCU it resulted in a 7 point win for the Sooners back in 2012. Bob Stoops has his team on an 8-game winning streak but TCU is 2nd in the nation in scoring defense and total defense. This could be trouble for the Sooners if they begin to look ahead to the Red River Shootout a week too early.

Oklahoma has scored 30+ points in each of their previous eight wins

5. Auburn (4-0) W vs Louisiana Tech 45-17

Auburn jumped out to a 24-3 halftime lead and did not look back. Nick Marshall threw 3 touchdowns in the blowout victory. Senior wide receiver Quay Bray had a standout game with 3 catches for 91 yards, two touchdowns and a 76 yard punt return for a touchdown. Auburn will meet up with SEC West rival LSU Saturday at home.
