Cleveland sweeps Toronto

Cleveland complete their 2nd straight sweep with a 109-102 victory over the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors are 2-8 in their last 10 games versus the Cavs in the playoffs.

Dwane Casey will be a great NBA coach, just not for this team. Toronto will most likely fire Casey, who has been the coach of the Raptors for 6 seasons. The Raptors have been to the playoffs 4 consecutive years but has a record of 17-24. Despite injuries to stars DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, Coach Casey still found a way to win 50 games two seasons in a row.

The Raptors are not built for the playoffs. DeMar DeRozan scores in bunches but can only do so 2 points at a time because his range is limited to 20 feet. Toronto is not a bad defensive team, ranking 11th in defensive efficiency. When it comes to LeBron and Kyrie there is nothing DeRozan or Lowry can do.

During this series it looked to me as if the Raptors already knew they were swept. Kyle Lowry never shows up for the playoffs so I didn't expect anything different from him. The only Raptors that came ready to play were DeRozan and Cory Joseph. Everybody else was just going through the motions, getting ready for the offseason. DeRozan could've went to a better contending team but instead took the $139 million to stay; which i would've done too.

Lebron James and Kyrie Irving are the best two players in the NBA playoffs. The two of them are the modern day Shaq and Kobe. Either one of them can take over the game at will and Kyrie is making a better effort of getting teammates involved. LeBron is playing his most efficient basketball this post season. LeBron playing 41 minutes a games in this series concerns me but throughout his career James has been good at managing his health and playing time. The only thing I can see stopping the Cavs from sweeping through the east is an injury. Other than that Cleveland will be 12-0 going into the NBA finals.
